Camera doesnt work

my camera shows only half a screen, other side is blacked out

    Look closely are the camera lens above your screen, is there any small privacy shutter that may need to be slid across to provide a full view on the webcam?

    If there is no privacy shutter on the webcam, click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting System Information window.
