    Hi, I'm John!

Are you using Classic Outlook using Gmail or Yahoo account?

If so, you’re not alone, many users started seeing this issue recently with Gmail and Yahoo accounts in Outlook app.

Microsoft is already aware and investigating it. They also shared a workaround here: https://support.microsoft.com/office/users-get-errors-0x800ccc0e-0x800ccc0f-synchronizing-gmail-and-yahoo-accounts-in-classic-outlook-e5a7b684-7c5c-4848-ab2d-d48291451f67

Also, if Gmail account You can also try the "Manual Workaround" provided in this Microsoft article:

Please follow the steps under "Manual Workaround" and then restart Outlook after completing them.

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.

Error 0x800CCC0F indicates that the connection to the mail server was interrupted during send/receive. The error notification at the bottom of Outlook is a status/result of that failure; it cannot usually be “deleted” directly, but the underlying issue can be fixed so the error no longer appears.

Use these steps that apply to classic Outlook for Windows:

    1. Check for oversized or stuck messages
      • Go to the Outbox.
      • Open the oldest message.
      • If it has large attachments (typically over 20 MB), remove the attachment or replace it with a link, then send again.
      • For more detail, see Reduce attachment size to send large files with Outlook and Exchange Online limits in the referenced article.
    2. Run the Inbox Repair Tool on the data file
      • Classic Outlook stores many accounts in a .pst file. Corruption in this file can cause send/receive errors.
      • Run the Inbox Repair Tool as described in Repair your Outlook personal folders file (.pst). This typically takes about 15 minutes.
    3. Check password and account settings
      • If the email account password was changed on the provider’s website, update the same password in Outlook.
      • If needed, follow Reset a forgotten Microsoft account password.
    4. Repair Outlook and the Outlook profile
      • Repair the Office/Outlook installation using Repair an Office application.
      • If the issue persists, repair or recreate the Outlook profile using Fix your Outlook email connection by repairing your profile.
    5. Start Outlook in Safe Mode
      • Press the Windows key, type outlook.exe /safe, and press Enter.
      • If send/receive works in Safe Mode, an add‑in is likely causing the problem. Create a new Outlook profile as described in Create an Outlook profile and disable problematic add‑ins.

Once the connection issue is resolved and Outlook can successfully complete a send/receive, the 0x800CCC0F error message at the bottom of the window will stop appearing.
