Block email

Question

i have blocked a certain email due to harrasment, the email goes to bin, so I sometimes see in when clearing the storage, is there a way of completely blocking the email address without going to bin? Thank you

Thank you for reaching out! As an Independent Advisor and fellow Microsoft user, I'm happy to assist you. Outlook does not completely block emails; it typically redirects them to the Junk or Deleted folder. To avoid seeing them altogether, you can create a rule:

Go to Settings → Mail → Rules

Add a rule for the specific sender

Set the action to Delete or Permanently delete

This ensures the emails are removed immediately and do not appear in your Deleted folder.
