Can you confirm after you checked all the information, did you test your email and does it still show valued member?

May I know if you validated the information on your account, are they all correct?

    Hi!

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

That “Valued Member” name isn’t random, it’s coming from somewhere in your account or profile settings, not the email you’re typing in that moment.

You can check it and go to Microsoft Account (account.microsoft.com), once logged in click your information and check if you see any entry for valued member. There should be an option to edit the name so you can enter what you like to be displayed.

This updates how your name appears when sending emails across Microsoft services.

Let me know if you are using new Outlook so I can guide you accordingly.

Update the display name associated with the account so that emails no longer show “valued member.” The steps depend on how mail is being accessed and what account is in use:

    1. If using classic Outlook for Windows with a non-Exchange account:
      1. In classic Outlook, select File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
      2. Select the email account and choose Change.
      3. On the Account Settings screen, update the Your name field to the desired display name.
      4. Select Next, then Close.
    2. If the account is a Microsoft Exchange account in Outlook:
      • The display name cannot be changed in Outlook. Only the Exchange administrator can change it. Contact the administrator and ask them to update the display name on the mailbox.
    3. If the address is a Microsoft account (Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, etc.) and the display name is wrong across Microsoft services:
      1. Sign in to the Microsoft account profile page.
      2. Select Edit name.
      3. Change the first and last name to the desired display name.
      4. Select Save.
      5. Allow up to 24 hours for the new name to appear everywhere.
