My hotmail account looks quite funny, the emails are not in proper sequence as they came in, they look all over the place. When I try to delete one mail, it automatically starts deleting others unless I actually come out of it. What do I do to change or correct this. it's driving me crazy..

    Dear AHMED Olawale ANIFOWOSHE,

Thank you for reaching out. I completely understand how frustrating it can be when your inbox doesn’t appear in the expected order or behaves unexpectedly while you’re trying to manage your emails.

In many cases, this is caused by mailbox view settings or temporary browser data. To help restore your inbox to normal, you may want to try the steps below:

    1. Sign in to your account at https://outlook.live.com using a private or incognito browser window. This can help rule out any impact from browser extensions or cached data.
    2. At the top right of your message list, click the Filter or Sort option.
    3. Make sure it’s set to Date and Newest on top.
    4. Then go to the View tab, select Conversations (or Messages, depending on your layout), and choose Show each message separately. When emails are grouped by conversation, deleting one message can sometimes remove the entire thread, which may explain what you’ve been seeing.

If the issue still persists, please feel free to share a screenshot of your inbox via private chat. This will help me better understand what’s happening and guide you more accurately.
