I need to speak to an agent, a human, providing live support. I was advised that my MS 365 account was going to be deactivated. I spoke to an agent earlier this week and I subscribed using another MS account I had and purchased MS 365 for the year. When I loaded it, I noted that my contacts were all gone. The only contacts that appeared when I was using Outlook were internal email accounts. After trying for days to fix this and get back my Contacts I ended up having all my Office apps removed from my personal PC. (I had a legacy 32 bit app on my PC, and when I removed it, all the Office apps went with it) It was apparent that my PC was being set up as an internal PC to the not-for-profit associated with one of my MS accounts. This was not to be the case. I need to get back my Office apps and I believe that I need to change my MS 365 account to another MS account. Since I just paid for the MS 365 account I need also to have my account amended so that I will pay only the difference between the value of the two accounts. I respectfully request a call back and live customer support to repair my PC, load the proper version of MS 365 on my PC and get my Office apps back onto my PC.

    Hello Richard Bialachowski

It sounds like Microsoft 365 may have been set up under a different Microsoft account than the one you intended to use, which can affect both your Office installation and the contacts shown in Outlook. Office also needs to be reinstalled using the Microsoft account that owns the active subscription.

Because you have a Microsoft 365 home subscription, the best next step is to contact Microsoft Support and request live chat so they can review the account, subscription, and installation details directly with you.

    1. Open a website link - Contact - Microsoft Support
    2. In the box below "We're here to help", type Microsoft 365, click "Get Help", and then click "Contact Support" below.
    3. In this section, you will need to sign in to your Microsoft account.
    4. Select "Microsoft 365 and Office" under Products & Services, select "Technical Support" as the category, and click to confirm
    5. You can select " Chat with a support agent in your web browser " to access the chat window.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, are not allowed to directly interfere with Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited solely to providing technical guidance on reported incidents, requests, or ideas.

I hope you’re able to reach a support agent quickly and get your Office apps and contacts restored soon.

    Have a nice day.

I tried dealing with MS Customer service using the account that my MS 365 is registered under and the autobot told me to contact my IT department. This is not their issue. It is mine. I was led to choose the wrong MS account to use. I have three and maybe four, MS accounts. That caused the confusion. Each time I join a charity I get assigned one of their email addresses which are all MS account related. I need to speak to an agent, a live human not an autobot
