To create a Windows 10 or Windows 11 installation USB (a bootable install drive):

1. Go to the Microsoft software download site: https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/
2. Select the version of Windows needed:
   • For Windows 11: choose Download Windows 11.
   • For Windows 10: choose Download Windows 10.
3. Under Create Windows [version] Installation Media, select Download Now to get MediaCreationTool.exe.
4. Run MediaCreationTool.exe and follow the wizard:
   • Accept the license terms.
   • Choose Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC.
   • Select language, edition, and architecture (or keep the recommended options).
   • Choose USB flash drive and select a blank USB drive with at least 8 GB.
   • Let the tool download Windows and create the bootable USB.

After this, the USB can be used to boot a PC and install or reinstall Windows.
