On Windows 10, Phone Link is delivered through Microsoft Store. If it seems missing or cannot be found, first confirm that Microsoft Store itself is present and working, then reset it and try to reinstall Phone Link.
- Confirm Microsoft Store is available
- In the taskbar search box, type Microsoft Store.
- If it appears, open it.
- If it does not appear:
- Make sure the device is signed in with a Microsoft account, not only a local account.
- If this is a work device, Microsoft Store may have been disabled by an administrator.
- If Microsoft Store is present but not working properly
- Reset the Store cache:
- Press Windows key + R.
- Type
wsreset.exe and select OK.
- A blank Command Prompt window opens and closes after about 10 seconds, then Microsoft Store should open automatically.
- If Store still behaves incorrectly, repair/reset it:
- Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps (or Apps & features), select Microsoft Store, then Advanced options, and choose Repair or Reset.
- Reinstall Phone Link
- After Microsoft Store opens successfully, search for Phone Link in the Store and install it again.
- If the app does not appear in search, it may be unavailable for the current region, account type, or device configuration.
If Microsoft Store itself cannot be found even after search and sign-in checks, or it is disabled by policy, reinstalling Phone Link through Store will not be possible until Store is restored or re-enabled.
