    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

    sfc /scannow

    Please wait to finish.

    Check if the issue persists.

    Follow these steps to repair the Settings app on Windows 11 when it will not open or crashes:

    1. Re‑register the Settings app
      1. Press Windows key + X and select Windows PowerShell (Admin) or Terminal (Admin).
      2. Run this command and press Enter:
              Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name windows.immersivecontrolpanel | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml" -Verbose}

      3. After it finishes, run this second command:
              Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

      4. Restart the PC and try opening Settings again.

    These commands re-register the Settings app and other built‑in apps, which fixes many cases where Settings will not open or crashes when used.
