    Hi,
What about the other apps, does Mic work in that?

Press Windows+R keys on the keyboard, or Right-click Start on the Taskbar and choose Run.

    Type mmsys.cpl

    Press Enter.

    Go to the recording tab.

Take a screenshot and post in the next reply.

I look forward to your response and am eager to collaborate until we find a solution.

Try these steps in Windows to fix the microphone so others can hear on Zoom:

    1. Check hardware and mute
    • If using a headset, make sure any physical Mute button on the headset or cable is not active.
    • Confirm the microphone or headset is firmly plugged in, or if it is Bluetooth, that it is paired and connected.
    1. Make the correct microphone the default input device
    • For Windows 11:
      1. Select Start > Settings > System > Sound.
      2. Under Input, go to Choose a device for speaking or recording and select the microphone or headset being used for Zoom.
      3. Select the > to the right of the device, then on the properties page choose Start test under Microphone test, speak, then Stop test and Play the sample to confirm Windows hears the voice.
    • For Windows 10:
      1. Select Start > Settings > System > Sound.
      2. Under Input, make sure the correct microphone is selected in Choose your input device.
      3. Speak into the mic and check Test your microphone to confirm Windows is detecting sound.
    1. Allow apps (including Zoom) to use the microphone (Windows 10)
    2. Select Start > Settings > Privacy > Microphone.
    3. Select Change, then turn on Allow apps to access your microphone.
    4. Under Allow desktop apps to access your microphone, make sure it is set to On so desktop apps like Zoom can use the mic.
    5. Increase microphone volume (if very quiet)
    • Windows 11:
      1. Start > Settings > System > Sound.
      2. Under Input, select the microphone to open its properties.
      3. Under Input settings, use Start test, speak normally, then Stop test and Play. Adjust the Input volume slider if needed.
    • Windows 10:
      1. Start > Settings > System > Sound.
      2. Under Input, select the microphone, then Device Properties.
      3. On the Levels tab, adjust Microphone and Microphone Boost sliders, select OK, then check Test your microphone.
    1. Run the built-in troubleshooter
    • Windows 11:
      1. Settings > System > Sound.
      2. Scroll to Advanced and choose Input devices under Troubleshoot common sound problems.
      3. Follow the Recording Audio troubleshooter steps.
    • Windows 10:
      1. Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
      2. Run the Recording Audio troubleshooter and apply any fixes it suggests.
    1. If Windows does not detect the microphone at all
    2. Right-click Start and select Device Manager.
    3. Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
    4. Right-click the audio device and select Uninstall device, check Attempt to remove/Delete the driver software for this device, then Uninstall.
    5. Restart the PC so Windows reinstalls audio devices automatically. If needed, in Device Manager right-click Sound, video and game controllers and select Scan for hardware changes.
    6. In Device Manager, right-click the audio driver and select Update driver.

After these steps, open Zoom’s audio settings and select the same microphone chosen in Windows as the input device, then use Zoom’s built-in microphone test.
