I'd check the domain controller and problem member both have the static ip address of DC listed for DNS and no others such as router or public DNS

Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I came across a problem in the trust relationship on two machines, it had happened before, but other times I retired and put it back in the domain and it worked.
This time, I did the same procedure, but an error message is appearing after entering the login and password to join the domain.
"Error while attempting to join the domain - This action cannot be completed"

Hello owilsonjunior-7837,
Thank you for posting in our Q&A forum.
We can checkas below:
1.Check if the IP address of the DNS server is static IP address.
2.Check if AD replication works fine by running repadmin /showrepl and repadmin /replsum.
3.Check If a now-defunct DC still exists in Active Directory Sites and Services and/or DNS then clean-up including metadata clean-up may be required.
If all above is OK, we can rejoin the machines to domain to see if it helps.
Best Regards,
Daisy Zhou
