Hi Team,

I have been giving Microsoft Technical exams since 2007. My old certificate mentions my MS Candidate ID as SR5456254 and when i gave recently new MS exams my MS Candidate id is MS0429325042

Is it possible to merge my old id with the new one (MS0429325042). so that in one dashboard i can see all my MS certifications (old+new)

Earlier in good old days MS used to give MCP card where my id is mentioned as : MCP#6661943

Thanks,

Pankaj

Merging of historical Microsoft certification records and IDs must be handled by Certification Support.

Use the dedicated certification support channel and provide all relevant identifiers so support can locate and consolidate the records, for example:

    • Old MCP ID (MCP#6661943)
    • Old Candidate ID (SR5456254)
    • Current Candidate ID (MS0429325042)
    • Current Learn Username and the account used for recent exams

Start by going to Certification Support and opening a case so the support team can investigate and, where possible, align all certifications under a single profile/dashboard:

If there are multiple Learn profiles involved, profile data can be merged as long as only one profile contains a personal Microsoft login account. Merging:

    1. Combines learning progress, credentials, and transcripts into a single profile.
    2. Keeps all existing login accounts usable.
    3. Cannot be undone.

To trigger a Learn profile merge:

    1. Sign in to the Learn profile that should become the primary profile.
    2. Go to login account management and choose “add login account.”
    3. Add the other login account; if it is tied to another Learn profile, this will trigger a merge and bring its contents into the signed-in profile.

For any issues with legacy MCP IDs or very old exams (such as those from 2007), contact Certification Support directly so they can manually align the historical records with the current profile.
