Hi

I have a wifi extender that worked for a day and now does not- says unable to connect. This extender works with everything else except my windows computers which is deeply annoying. I have done every step including a reset, loaded, reinstalled, shut down etc etc and no joy. Tried the drivers, windows terminal etc and the issue is clearly windows as nothing is working!

Suggestions?

    Hi John Clark,

Regarding your information, your computer may have difficulty in getting IP from DHCP server through extender.

Please try setting manual IP following these steps:

Open Settings from the Start menu.

    1. Click Network & Internet and select Wi-Fi.
    2. Select your current Wi-Fi network.
    3. Click Edit under IP assignment.
    4. Choose Manual from the drop-down.
    5. Turn on the IPv4 toggle.
    6. Enter your IP address, Subnet mask, Default gateway, and Preferred DNS.
    7. (Optional) Enter an Alternate DNS.
    8. Click Save to apply changes.

If you have further information, please feel free to let me know.

    Hi.

I really don't think the problem is Windows.

Is the WiFi repeater/extender located in the same room as the router, or is it in a different room or on a different floor of the house than the router?
