Could somebody help me with my Bluetooth? I have been trying to connect it, but all it says is "Couldn't connect." Could anyone help me by any chance?

    1

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Update and Security - Troubleshoot

Click 'Show Additional Troubleshooters' or 'Other Troubleshooters'.

Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter from the resulting page

Check if Bluetooth is then working

    2

If not, open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

At the top of Device Manager, choose View - Show Hidden Devices

Does that show hidden Bluetooth device(s)

if so, right click and uninstall that

    Restart your PC

Check if Bluetooth is then working

    3

If Bluetooth is still not working, go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, then from there, download and install the Bluetooth device drivers they recommend.

In Device Manager, Bluetooth appears as its own category in the list of devices.

    1. Open Device Manager (as in the screenshot).
    2. In the list, look for an entry named Bluetooth. The categories are listed alphabetically, and the one needed will be next to a blue Bluetooth logo.
    3. Select the arrow to the left of Bluetooth to expand it and see all Bluetooth adapters or radios.

If there is no Bluetooth category at all, the PC may not have Bluetooth hardware, or its driver may not be installed. In that case, check the PC’s specifications to confirm it supports Bluetooth, then install the correct Bluetooth driver from the PC or motherboard manufacturer.

After confirming Bluetooth exists and is enabled, try reconnecting the device:

    1. In Windows, select Start > Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices (Windows 10) or Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices (Windows 11).
    2. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
    3. Put the Bluetooth device into pairing mode and select Add Bluetooth or other device to pair it again.

If it still says “Couldn’t connect,” run the Bluetooth troubleshooter and follow its steps:
