so I signed into my Microsoft account on Minecraft on my ps5, and it asked me to verify my age, I skipped that step and I would like to verify it now. How do I go about doing that

After updating your info, the security system needs time to sync it across all services, and that can take up to 48 hours. Note that, there’s no way to speed up this process, it’s just how Microsoft designed it.

To verify age on a Microsoft account after skipping the prompt, update the birth date on the Microsoft account profile and, if needed, complete any parental consent or age-verification steps that appear.

1. Go to the Microsoft account profile page and sign in with the same Microsoft account used on Minecraft/PS5. Use the profile edit option to check and, if appropriate, correct the date of birth, then select Save.
2. If the account’s birthdate indicates a child/underage account, Microsoft may require parental consent. In that case, follow the on‑screen prompts to request or provide consent. If prompted, a parent/guardian should sign in with their own Microsoft account from the consent email or via the consent/sign‑in flow and approve the child account.
3. If the system still treats the account as underage even though the actual user is above statutory age, use the interactive tool linked under “Why am I required to provide consent even though I am above statutory age?” to be guided to the correct steps to fix the birthdate/age status.
4. After updating the birthdate and completing any consent/verification, sign out of Minecraft on PS5, then sign back in with the same Microsoft account so the updated age/consent status is recognized.
