I have an issue with the candidate name/id it doesn't match the my ID/ driver's license. I treid to change it on my own, but there is too many links I need to jump through, too much logging in with every new page and I have been trying forever to fix this. This is making it dificult for me to write the DP-900 exam, becuase I get revoked everytime.

I need help. Already tried to go through the CREDENTIAL SUPPORT FORUM. I just want someone to contact me, with further instructions.

This is a community forum, you need to go through Credentials Support https://aka.ms/credentialssupport.

If you do not see Microsoft Credentials selected against Product, create an account on the Engage Center Hub and then use the direct link https://aka.ms/credentialssupport again.

If you see the message "You are currently logged in as a guested personal account, which may result in access issues on Engage Center." then click on "Sign in to Microsoft's tenant for Personal Users", select "Login to Engage Center", and then use the direct link https://aka.ms/credentialssupport again.

The candidate name used for Microsoft certification exams must match the name on the identification exactly. When it does not, the proctor can revoke or prevent the exam, as is happening with the DP-900 appointment.

To get this corrected, the legal name on the Microsoft Learn profile and exam records must be updated through Credentials Support; community forums cannot change it.

    Use this path:

    1. Update the legal name in the Learn profile (if possible)
      • Go to the Learn profile settings page: https://learn.microsoft.com/users/me/settings
      • Look for the Legal name section and correct the name so it matches the ID/driver’s license.
      • Save the changes.
      • If a message appears saying to contact Certification Support, follow that message and continue with the steps below.
    2. Submit a Credentials Support request (this is the channel that can fix exam name issues)
      • Go to the online support request page: https://aka.ms/Credentials-Support
      • Step 1 – Product details:
        1. For Product family, select Learning.
        2. For Product or Service, select Microsoft Credentials.
        3. Choose the category that best matches the issue (for example, exam profile or name mismatch).
        4. For Types of Support, select Professional No Charge.
        5. Enter location and time zone.
        6. Select Email as the preferred contact method (support is only via email, even if Phone is selected).
      • Step 2 – Describe the issue:
        1. In the summary, clearly state that the candidate name does not match the ID/driver’s license and that the DP-900 exam keeps getting revoked.
        2. Include the correct legal name exactly as it appears on the ID.
        3. Provide the Learn Username (from Learn Settings).
        4. Attach screenshots of the incorrect name in the exam profile and, if allowed, a masked screenshot of the ID showing the correct name.
      • Step 3 – Contact details:
        1. Ensure the contact email is correct; this will be used for all replies.
      • Step 4 – Submit the case:
        1. After submission, a case number will be shown and an email will be sent from ******@mail.support.microsoft.com (check junk/spam folders).
        2. Credentials Support will respond during business hours (5:30 AM–5:30 PM PT) with instructions and any required documentation to correct the name.

If the exam is booked through Pearson VUE and the Learn profile name is already correct but the exam profile is not, still use the same Credentials Support request; they will coordinate with the exam delivery partner as needed.

Once the legal name is corrected in the certification records, schedule a new DP-900 appointment so the updated name is used and matches the ID.
