I am experiencing exactly the same issue and behavior described by, Y an, and this has been happening since March 2026. I am using VMware Workstation Pro 26H1 with the SVM option enabled in the BIOS. I also tested the same system with VMware 17. In addition, I replaced the RAM and graphics card, but without success. On the same machine running Kubuntu 26.04 Linux, VMware virtualization works correctly.
