    @Trish Finney
Looks like normal Classic Outlook Sync Logs. But they should only be found in your Sync Issues folders not in your Inbox.

The first thing to try is to reset your Outlook Default Folders. This involves using an Outlook Command Line.

    1 -- Close Outlook.

2 -- Press the Windows key and the R key simultaneously to open the Windows Run dialog. You should see:

    User's image

3 -- In the text box copy/paste in this command outlook.exe /resetfolders and click OK.

This should reset your Default Folder settings so Sync Logs go to your Sync Issues folders like they are suppose to. If you keep getting them in your Inbox, come back and we'll try some other fixes.

Those “synchronizing…” lines are normal status messages from Outlook’s sync engine, not emails. To stop seeing them, either:

    1. Turn off Cached Exchange Mode (stops offline sync entirely, but also removes offline access), or
    2. Leave Cached Mode on and just ignore/close the Sync Issues / Sync Logs view.

If the concern is the volume of items being synced (making these messages frequent), reduce what’s cached or adjust filters:

    1. In Outlook 2016, select File > Account Settings > Account Settings.
    2. Select the account and choose Change.
    3. Use the Mail to keep offline slider to cache fewer months, or move it to All if the issue is that only a subset is syncing and Outlook keeps catching up.
    4. Select Next, then Finish, then restart Outlook.

If a specific folder shows constant sync activity and mismatched counts, check for a sync filter:

    1. Right-click the folder > Properties.
    2. Go to the Synchronization tab > Filter.
    3. Select Clear All or adjust the filter.
    4. Let Outlook run a Send/Receive so it resyncs with the server.

These steps reduce unnecessary sync work and the associated status messages.
