Microsoft Authenticator cannot perform backup

Hi, since May 11, without any change on my end (phone or account), Authenticator is unable to perform a backup.

I have tried:

  • Tapping on the prompt to authenticate and pressing continue: Error
  • Tapping on change accounts and sign in: Error
  • Disabling backup (succeeded) and attempting to reenable backup: Error
  • Contacting Microsoft Support via chat: Useless, they sent me here
  • Removing the authenticator from my account, and readding the authenticator (succeeded) then attempting to enable backup: Error
  • Clearing system cache (succeeded) and attempting to reenable backup: Error

The error is: Something went wrong. Please send us logs using the Send Logs option.

I need urgent assistance as I am left without backup which means if my phone dies I am roasted and locked out of ~25 accounts.
