If Microsoft Defender says it’s unable to log in even though you’re already signed into your Microsoft account and have Microsoft 365, try these steps:
Sign out of Defender completely and sign back in.
Make sure you are using the same Microsoft account that owns the Microsoft 365 subscription.
Update the Microsoft Defender app to the latest version.
Restart your device after signing out.
Temporarily disable VPN or proxy connections if enabled.
Remove and reinstall the Defender app if the issue continues.
Check your Microsoft 365 subscription status in your account portal to confirm Defender services are active.
Sometimes the issue is caused by account sync or authentication cache problems between the app and Microsoft services.
