Printer notified me that I need to replace only the color ink, so I just replaced them all. Then it could not recognize the black ink, i purchased more black ink and installed it, now it is showing I need to replace all the color ones. When I shake them I can tell they have ink in them. How do i fix this printer to accept the ink cartridges ? This all happened after a computer update. Any help would be greatly appreciated I dont want to have to purchase more it .

Check to make sure you have the right type of cartridge in your printer sometimes it may fit but it isn’t the correct cartridge type

i have the right cartridges because the first time i put the color ones in , it accepted them as full, and the black was showing empty, so i put in the correct black one and now all the color ones are showing need replaced. All cartridges are the right ones and new/full. I need to know how to rest the printer so you will recognize all ink at the same time. Yes I tried taking them all out and putting them all in at the same time, that did not fix the problem. Thanks for responding to my Q I appreciate it :)

Its no problem, but I think if it still won’t read the black ink, i recommend calling the manufacturer about it because if it still won’t read the cartridge then it is something with the printer and they could help look deeper into the prblem
