Recently, my mobile phone experienced a hardware problem and needed to be sent to a service center. Therefore, I need to back up and restore my Microsoft Authenticator app data (especially one-time passwords) so I can use the app on another device. However, the backup and restore function isn't working that I cannot restore in a new device since I backed up successfully before. I logged successfully and tried many times.
I've tried deleting the old backup and creating a new one, but without success. The funny thing is that the app said "Something went wrong. Please send us logs using the Send logs option." but I cannot find it anywhere.
Since the service center doesn't guarantee my data, I need to find a way to back it up. I haven't found any contact information or customer support for Microsoft Authenticator. Therefore, I'm posting this.

René 30 Reputation points2026-05-17T15:46:58.9366667+00:00 You're not alone. Several users have been reporting that they are unable to sign in MS authentificator and are unable to do cloud backups. This started about 5-6 days ago.
Microsoft's lazy handling of this major problem is really disappointing and frustrating. My trust in their authentification app is shattered right now.
Microsoft, if you read this, do something! Adress the problem and solve it!
