My printer will no longer print, which i think is related to a recent Windows 11 update. I have tried everything i can to resolve with no success, so some advice from Microsoft would be appreciated please?

Can you follow this thread in the canon's forum, and see Danny's comment, and see if you can if you can find the precise model number? Thanks!! The goal here is to get you the driver to reinstall.

2026-05-16T19:48:10.4266667+00:00 I print using a USB cable so can't do that unfortunately. It was working before though and then stopped last week, which I thought coincided with the Windows 11 update (but it may not have)

This is the very specific USB installation instruction from Canon
*Precaution When Using a USB Connection Disconnect the USB cable that connects the device and computer before installing the driver. Connect the USB cable after installing the driver. Drivers and applications are compressed.
Download / Installation Procedures
- Download the file. For the location where the file is saved, check the computer settings.
- Double-click the downloaded EXE file to decompress it, then installation will start automatically.

But can give it a try. Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers and scanners. Select the printer listed there and remove it.
Then restart the computer, and then run that exe file to install again.
