The Publisher app has not been updated like the other Office apps have for a long time, they will be deprecating Publisher, there is no way to stop that, if you have a version of Office that pre-dates the Office 2024 version, then you can continue to use Publisher after they deprecate it, Publisher will not be removed form the older versions of Office.
PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE MICROSOFT PUBLISHER😭😭😭😭😭
Hello, Microsoft,
I am very sorry about the news that support for Publisher will soon be discontinued.
It is hard to believe that such a refined tool will be removed.
Farewell, Publisher. One last little reminder: DO NOT DELETE PUBLISHER
If this comes true (referring to deleting Publisher), then I will remember it.

- It will no longer be included with Microsoft 365.
- Microsoft 365 subscribers will no longer be able to open or edit Publisher files in Publisher.
- Existing on-premises (perpetual) suites that include Publisher will also reach end of support on October 1, 2026, when Office LTSC 2021 support ends.
- Perpetual versions of Publisher can still be installed and used after that date, but they will no longer be supported.
To preserve existing work, it is recommended to convert important Publisher files to formats such as PDF or Word before October 2026. Many common Publisher scenarios—like flyers, labels, calendars, business cards, and programs—can be created using other Microsoft 365 apps such as Word and PowerPoint, and additional templates are available at Microsoft Create.
