How to remove "Failed to launch or locate Process Explorer" window?

Process Explorer runs from Autoruns, but I always get this window as well:

Win11P, all current updates, autoruns and procexp in same folder.

Autoruns can integrate with Process Explorer: when an autostart entry is selected and the Process Explorer command is used, Autoruns tries to start or attach to Process Explorer. The dialog “Failed to launch or locate Process Explorer” appears when Autoruns cannot find or run procexp.exe.

To stop the message:

1. Ensure procexp.exe is present and runnable
   • Download Process Explorer from the official package if needed.
   • Extract procexp.exe and confirm it runs by double‑clicking it.
2. Keep Autoruns and Process Explorer together
   • Place autoruns.exe and procexp.exe in the same folder.
   • Start Autoruns from that folder so it can locate Process Explorer when the menu item is used.
3. Avoid invoking the Process Explorer integration
   • Do not use the Process Explorer item in the Entry menu or toolbar in Autoruns if Process Explorer is not installed or not desired. The error only appears when that command is triggered.

With Process Explorer correctly installed and in the same directory, Autoruns will open it instead of showing the error.
