When I try to save word docs on my macbook air, I get this message: "The save failed due to out of memory or disk space." This is new (in the past three days), and I have enough memory and have tried to restart my computer and Word but it still is not working. I can save other files such as PPT with no issues. Help please!

Hi Kenra, Apologies for missing the MacOS as your Operating System.

May I know if you are still hitting the issue?

Did you copy all contents > Paste in a new file and see if that helps, as a troubleshooting step?

    Hi Kendra,

Via https://www.reddit.com/r/Office365/comments/1bm8tzu/cannot_save_word_document_as_doc_or_rtf_error/, let me know if the solution helps.

In the Office menus, under Open, there was a heading with a yellow triangle labeled "Files Needing Attention". Two super-old randomfiles were listed under that tab. After deleting both of those files, I went back to the original document AND IT SAVED AS A .DOC!

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.
