I created an account while purchasing a new windows key (11). But there was no policy of parental consent and after one month of creating my account was automatically log out from everywhere saying," you need to update your some information. " while logging in it automatically redirect to parent consent page saying you need to add a parent to log in. there is loop glich since i can't login means i cannot add any parents ,meanwhile to add parents i need to log in microsoft family which i can't. i guess you need to modify your policy allow children to be access but with the restriction .

And most interesting part is i can change my password using my backup email but neither i can't log in using it nor I can give parental consent that wow .

i suggest allow such account to at least log in to add family member and give consent, but you can limit the features until the parent consent is give.

Microsoft it just like my example (situation) below: -

Imagine i create a wallet and before I verify my kyc they just log me out. so i am stuck in loop to add kyc i must log in but it doesnt allow me to log in until i verify kyc , this is bull shit.

    Hi Nis Ant

I understand how frustrating this must be, you’re stuck in a parental consent loop and unable to access your account at all.

This usually happens when the account is flagged as a child account, but the consent process was never fully completed. Because of this, the system keeps redirecting to the consent page without letting you proceed, creating a login loop.

Since you cannot sign in to add a parent, the only reliable ways to resolve this are:

Unfortunately, this isn’t something that can be fixed locally once the loop occurs.

For support, use: Microsoft Support → Contact Us and explain that you are “stuck in a parental consent loop and cannot sign in to complete consent.”

This is a public forum; no one here can access or modify your account directly, only Microsoft Support can reset account restrictions.

Hope you'll get this sorted out!
