Remove organisation

Hello,

Few years back, while doing project for an organisation, they provide me access to MS365 for my my email address. My assignment with them got over in 2021 and since then I have been facing issues loging into the Teas. The email address assigned to the account belongs to my company which own the domain as well. Please help me to de-couple my email address with the company so that I can use my email address for log in. I want to but MS 365 but unable to do so doe to this issue.

Based on what you explained, your email address is still connected to the Microsoft 365 account of the company you worked with before. Even though your project ended in 2021, your account was never removed from their system. That’s why you are having trouble signing in to Teams.

Since that company manages the Microsoft 365 setup and controls the domain, the domain is under their control, you will not be able to keep using it in your own Microsoft 365 setup unless your company takes ownership and manages it separately.

To provide the best recommendation, could you try to use Teams on web and provide me some screenshots about your issue?
