Copilot Mobile App: Image Rendering Stops After 2-3 Generations

I am reporting a reproducible problem with the Copilot mobile application. After two or three successful image generations, the app stops displaying new image cards entirely. The generation request appears to complete, but the UI never shows the result. No error message is displayed. This issue has been happening for several months and is 100% reproducible.

Environment: Copilot mobile app on iPhone Image generation workflow Issue occurs after 2-3 successful generations

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open the Copilot mobile app.
  2. Generate an image.
  3. Generate changes and update the image a second, and more changes a third time.
  4. Attempt to generate a fourth image with another change.

Expected behavior: Each generation should display a new image card in the chat.

Actual behavior: The first image appears normally. The second and third image usually appears. The fourth and all following generations do not appear at all. The UI shows no card, no error, and no partial update. The app must be fully restarted to recover.

Additional details: This appears to be a client-side UI failure. The backend seems to complete the request, but the UI does not render the returned image. It may be related to state not resetting between generations, a stuck rendering component, or an unhandled error in the image card display logic.

Impact: This issue prevents any iterative image workflow. The app becomes unusable for multi-step creative work. Please escalate this to the Copilot mobile engineering team. This is a major usability issue and has been present for months.
