received single code but not requested

I get single code thru your email.

Can you please tell me why are sending single code without any of my request.

Also how did come that i need that code.

If you received an Email with a single use code, that may indicate there was an attempt to hack your account.

Log into your Microsoft account on this link to check the recent activity on your account, do you see any login attempts from locations/countries you do not recognize, and if so, is it indicated the login attempts were successful.
