I cannot receive verification codes from Malwarebytes.com. I have added them to my contact list as noreply at t.malwarebytes.com. I cannot find them in my Junk folder. I receive normal marketing emails from them. AI suggests contacting my email provider. What can I do next?

    Hi Dale W Hopkins,

I understand that you can receive Malwarebytes marketing emails, but the verification code messages from noreply at t.malwarebytes.com are not arriving.

Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors here cannot check Outlook.com mail delivery logs or release messages from the server side.

I reviewed the Q&A Assist answer, and its main point is reasonable: if only the Malwarebytes verification emails are affected after you already checked Junk and added the sender to contacts, the message may need to be reviewed from the sender side or by Outlook.com support.

Have you had a chance to try the Q&A Assist suggestions, especially checking whether the sender is blocked and whether any Outlook.com rules are moving or deleting the message? If those checks are already clear, I would suggest contacting Outlook.com support from inside your mailbox so they can review the delivery issue for your account.

You can contact Outlook.com support this way:

    1. Go to Outlook.com and sign in.
    2. Click the Help icon (question mark) in the top right corner.
    3. In the Help pane that opens, type a brief description of your issue (e.g., "cannot receive emails"), then press Enter.
    4. Scroll down the page until you see "Still need help?", click Yes.
    5. Select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser."
    6. Review the description of your issue and confirm your email address (ensure it's an email you can access).
    7. Click Confirm to create the service request and then Start chat to connect with an agent.
    8. The screen will indicate that your request has been submitted and the system is connecting you to Outlook.com live chat support, which may take a moment to load.

When contacting support, mention that normal Malwarebytes marketing emails arrive, but verification code emails from noreply at t.malwarebytes.com do not arrive in Inbox or Junk. That detail is important because it shows the issue is specific to the verification message stream, not all Malwarebytes mail.

    I hope this helps.

Do the following checks and adjustments in Outlook.com / Outlook on the web to help those verification codes arrive and avoid Junk:

    1. Check Junk and other folders again
    • In Outlook.com, search for t.malwarebytes.com across All folders, not just Inbox and Junk.
    • Also check any custom rules or folders where messages might be auto‑filed.
    1. Verify Malwarebytes isn’t blocked
    • Go to Outlook.com or Outlook on the web.
    • Select Settings > Mail (or Options).
    • In the left pane, open Blocked senders or Block and allow.
    • If t.malwarebytes.com or any Malwarebytes address/domain appears there, select it and remove it.
    1. Review safe/allowed senders and rules
    • In the same Mail options area, review Safe senders / Allowed senders and ensure the address or domain is listed there if that option exists for the account type.
    • Check any rules that might move or delete messages from that sender.
    1. Ask the sender to check their side
    • If messages still don’t arrive, contact Malwarebytes support from another email address and let them know:
      • Their verification email is not being delivered to Outlook.com.
      • They may need to review their sending reputation or contact Microsoft via their postmaster channels (as senders are instructed to do when Outlook.com doesn’t deliver messages).
    1. If other senders are also missing
    • If multiple senders’ messages are missing, follow the same pattern: verify blocked senders, junk settings, and then contact those senders so they can work with Microsoft if needed.

If none of the above resolves it and only this one sender is affected, the next step really is for Malwarebytes (as the sender) to work with Microsoft’s postmaster/support channels, because only they can see why their verification messages to Outlook.com are being filtered or dropped.
