On my desktop, the "documents" file is missing. Is there any way to find it?

    Yep - the Documents folder is still present even if it disappears from Quick Access, This PC, or the desktop. First press Win + E and type this into the File Explorer address bar: %USERPROFILE%\Documents then press Enter. If the folder opens, it still exists and was probably just unpinned or hidden.

    You can also try: C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents (replace YourUserName with your Windows account name)

    If that fails, search the drive directly. Open File Explorer, select This PC, and search:

    kind:=document

    or search for:

    Documents

    If Documents disappeared from the left navigation pane only, restore default folders by right-clicking the navigation pane in File Explorer and enabling “Show libraries,” or reset folder locations from the folder properties dialog if available.
