    Hi,

You can reinstall it directly from the Microsoft account used to sign in to your Office apps.

Log in to your Microsoft account here: https://account.microsoft.com/services

You can see Microsoft Office listed as active, right? If yes, you can reinstall it by following the steps below:

    1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services
    2. Sign in using the Microsoft account associated with your license
    3. Locate Microsoft Office and click Install
    4. This will download the Office installer
    5. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions

Once installed, open any Office app such as Word or Excel, then sign in using the Microsoft account associated with the purchase to activate Office.

Microsoft Office that was pre-installed on a laptop can be reinstalled, but it cannot be “given back” without reinstalling and activating it again.

Because the reboot/recovery removed the pre-installed Office apps (Word, Excel, etc.), follow these steps depending on how Office came with the device:

    1. If the laptop was reset/recovered (Push Button Reset / factory reset)
    2. If some apps (like Outlook, Access, Publisher) are missing after reset
    3. If this is a new PC that originally included Office and some apps are missing
      • First open Word or Excel and complete activation (Choose Try, Buy, or Activate Office as appropriate).
      • After activation, update Office so that all included apps download:
        1. Open Word or Excel and create a new document.
        2. Go to File > Account.
        3. Under Product Information, select Update Options > Update Now.
        4. Let updates finish; shortcuts for all included apps (Word, Excel, etc.) should appear in Start.

If reinstall or activation fails, contact Microsoft Support or the device manufacturer with proof that Office was bundled with the laptop (invoice, product card, or digital entitlement in the Microsoft account used on the device).
