I have purchased my product key along with my HP laptop. I am trying to activate the product with my key but the below error pops out "This product key was redeemed with different account" I tried with all accounts but still I receive the same message. Kindly support to resolve this issue asap

    Hello

This means the key code has already been redeemed by another Microsoft account.

If I remember correctly, the error message does show some hints about the account username. If you don't recognize it, you need to contact whoever you bought the code from, as they apparently gave you the wrong code and should give you a new one.

The message means the product key has already been redeemed and is now permanently tied to a different Microsoft account. After redemption, the key itself can no longer be used directly; activation and installation must be done by signing in with the Microsoft account that originally redeemed the key, not by re‑entering the key.

    To resolve:

    1. Confirm the correct Microsoft account
      • Check all Microsoft accounts ever used on this device (and any used at purchase time) and sign in to the Services page: https://account.microsoft.com/services
      • Look for the Office product (for example, Office Home & Student or Microsoft 365) listed under that account.
      • If found, install/activate Office by signing into Office apps with that same account. Do not use the product key again.
      • If the product does not appear under any of the accounts tried, it was redeemed with a different account (for example, by the seller or a previous owner).
    2. If the key was bundled with the new HP laptop
      • Verify the purchase documentation from HP (invoice, proof of purchase, any key card or digital entitlement information).
      • If HP pre‑redeemed or mis‑assigned the key, contact HP support with proof of purchase so they can correct or replace the entitlement.
    3. If the key was purchased separately or appears to be misused
      • If the key was sold separately from the software or appears to have been used by someone else, contact the seller and request a refund. Keys that are stolen, fraudulently obtained, or resold improperly are often blocked or already redeemed and cannot be reassigned.
    4. Contact Microsoft support if ownership is unclear
      • If proof of purchase is available and the correct account cannot be identified, contact Microsoft support for help with the product key and account association: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/
      • Provide the product key, proof of purchase, and details about when and where the laptop and Office were purchased.

Going forward, once the key is redeemed and the product shows under the correct Microsoft account, always install and activate Office by signing in with that account rather than re‑entering the key.
