Is Explorer Mode gone now?

I have already enabled Explorer Mode in Edge, but I don't see the button/icon anymore in the taskbar. No matter what site I go to, I don't see any option to "reload page in Explorer Mode" at all.

Please go to edge://settings/defaultBrowser

Internet Explorer (IE) mode is still available in Microsoft Edge, but the button and menu options only appear when IE mode is properly enabled and allowed.

Check the following:

1. Verify IE mode is allowed in Edge
   1. In the Edge address bar, go to edge://settings/defaultbrowser.
   2. Ensure Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode is set to Allow (or ON), not Default.
   3. Restart Edge.
2. Use the IE mode command on a page
   • After enabling the setting and restarting:
     • Open any site.
     • Select Settings and more (the ellipses ... in the top-right).
     • Look for Reload in Internet Explorer mode.
       • On Edge 92 or later, this is where the command appears.
       • On some older builds, it may be under More tools > Reload in Internet Explorer mode.
3. Pin the IE mode button to the toolbar
   • Once IE mode is allowed, the Reload in Internet Explorer mode icon can be shown on the toolbar:
     1. Go to edge://settings/appearance.
     2. Enable the option to show the Internet Explorer mode button (if available).
   • Organizations can also force this via the InternetExplorerModeToolbarButtonEnabled policy so the button is always pinned.
4. Managed/enterprise devices
   • On devices managed by an organization, the Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode setting may be greyed out.
   • In that case, the Reload in Internet Explorer mode option and toolbar button only appear if the admin has configured the relevant policies (for example, allowing unconfigured sites to be reloaded in IE mode or using an Enterprise Site List).

If the setting is disabled by policy or not set to Allow, the IE mode button and the “Reload in Internet Explorer mode” option will not appear, even though IE mode itself still exists.
