my due amount is zero , but when creating a new sql database , its telling you have to pay before you continue

    I think a new SQL Database cannot be created while the Billing profile shows an active alert, so opening Cost Management and Billing → Billing profiles and clearing the alert is required.

    Go to:

    1. Subscriptions → verify status is Active
    2. Check if subscription says:
      • “Disabled”
      • “Past due”
      • “Upgrade required”
    3. Verify payment card
    4. Try creating:
      • Cheapest SQL tier
      • Different region

    If above methods did not work its either one of following

    1. Free trial Credits Ended
    2. Spending limit reached
    3. Trying to create a paid SKU While creating SQL Database:
      • Some tiers are paid automatically
        • Example: General Purpose, Business Critical
      Try:
      • Basic
      • Serverless lowest tier
      • Free offers if availableTrying to create a paid SKU While creating SQL Database:
      • Some tiers are paid automatically
      • Example: General Purpose, Business Critical
      Try:
      • Basic
      • Serverless lowest tier
      • Free offers if available
      1. Billing account issue Sometimes:
        • Subscription is active
          • Balance is zero
            • But billing profile needs verification
            Check notifications in: Azure Cost Management + Billing
