    Hi ,

Search for msinfo32.exe in the search bar, take a screenshot, and post it here so we can see the correct laptop model or desktop configuration.
Try restoring to a system restore point from a time before you performed this uninstallation:

If you don't have any restore points, please let me know.

    Thanks

Follow these steps to recover and update the GTX 1660 Super driver after it was removed from Device Manager and NVIDIA updates are failing.

    1. Let Windows reinstall the basic display driver
      1. Save all work and close all apps.
      2. Right‑click the Start menu and select Device Manager.
      3. Expand Display adapters.
      4. If the GPU (or a “Microsoft Basic Display Adapter”) is listed but has issues, right‑click it and select Uninstall device.
      5. Confirm uninstall.
      6. Restart the PC: right‑click Start > Shut down or sign out > Restart.
      7. After restart, Windows will attempt to reinstall a display driver automatically.
    2. If the driver does not reinstall automatically Use Device Manager to reinstall/update the driver:
      1. Open Device Manager again and expand Display adapters.
      2. Right‑click the display adapter entry and select Update driver.
      3. Select Search automatically for drivers and let Windows search and install what it finds.
    3. If Windows says the best drivers are already installed Manually install a downloaded NVIDIA driver package:
      1. Download the correct GTX 1660 Super driver for the Windows version and architecture from the NVIDIA site.
      2. If the download is a self‑installing .exe, run it and follow NVIDIA’s setup wizard.
      3. If the download is a driver folder (INF‑based):
        • Note the folder path.
        • Open Device Manager > Display adapters.
        • Right‑click the GPU (or Microsoft Basic Display Adapter) > Update driver.
        • Select Browse my computer for drivers.
        • Select Browse…, point to the folder where the NVIDIA driver was extracted, select OK, then Next.
        • Let Windows install the driver if it detects it as compatible.
    4. If a recent driver/update broke the GPU (after a Windows or NVIDIA update) Roll back the driver if the option is available:
      1. Open Device Manager.
      2. Expand Display adapters and right‑click the GPU > Properties.
      3. Go to the Driver tab.
      4. Select Roll Back Driver (if enabled), choose a reason, then Yes.
      5. Restart the PC if prompted.
    5. If the GPU still does not appear or still errors
      1. Make sure Windows is fully updated (Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates) so that any generic GPU support and system drivers are current.
      2. If using a Windows 365 GPU Cloud PC or similar environment, follow the platform‑specific guidance and install the Microsoft‑approved NVIDIA driver package, then restart and confirm in Device Manager that the error is gone.

If none of the above resolves the issue and the device still shows error 0x800703f1 or does not appear under Display adapters, contact NVIDIA or the PC/motherboard manufacturer with details of the error and the steps already tried.
