Admin account access

Good day

I am getting an error when attempting to login into an old microsoft (2023) account. I know the password and I have access to the verification number, but I get an error that says "Sorry, we're having trouble verifying your account. Please try again. ".

The account is and admin account. I urgently need to access the account to cancel a subscription that I do not use anymore.

Try the Microsoft Sign-in Helper for the affected account.

Also try these basic checks:

Use an InPrivate/Incognito browser window.

Try another browser/device/network.

Disable VPN/proxy temporarily.

1. Wait before retrying if you attempted many times as repeated verification attempts can trigger temporary protection.

Because this is urgent please try to create a support request.

his is account recovery or billing support, not Azure Cloud Services. Since u know the password and have the verification number but Microsoft still says it cannot verify the account, the account is probably hitting a security verification block. Use the Microsoft sign-in helper https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/accounts-billing/manage/i-can-t-sign-in-to-my-microsoft-account. If that does not work, submit the account recovery form https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/accounts-billing/manage/help-with-the-microsoft-account-recovery-form. For cancelling the subscription, use billing support if u cannot access the account https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/unable-to-cancel-your-microsoft-subscription-661ead29-7e86-474a-9499-a8b05d44fcf9. Community users cannot unlock the admin account or cancel the subscription for u. Do not post phone numbers, passwords, recovery codes, tenant IDs, or payment details here
