My credit card is being double charged and I have tried and tried to speak to a REAL person to get this stopped! I'm NOT paying somebody to hit a keyboard to cancel anything. THAT"S YOUR JOB!!! When I look at my account I only have 1 subscription and that is for $10.41 to be charged on or about the 26th of each month and yet I'm being charged on the 22nd of each month the same amount! If this doesn't get resolved I'll be cancelling everything with you. I'm sick of this and its getting rediculious. If I wanted to talk to a machine I'd talk to this damn computer.!!!! FIX IT or I'm CANCELLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hello,

This is a public forum, so for your privacy and security, we can’t help with billing issues here. Also, no one in this forum has access to your account or payment information.

To get help, open the "Get Help" app on your computer (just search for it in the Start menu). or go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus, Type "Billing" and press Enter. On the next screen, click "Contact support" at the bottom of the page, then choose "Microsoft 365" > "Manage my subscription". You’ll then see the option to chat with a Microsoft support agent who has access to your account to help review the issue.

Double charges like this are usually caused by one of these issues:

    1. A late/failed payment being retried
      • If Microsoft cannot take payment on the due date (for example, due to insufficient funds), the system keeps trying until it succeeds.
      • This can make a “late” payment and the next “on time” payment appear very close together on the bank statement, for the same amount and same product.
      • To verify, review the last few months of order history and compare it with bank statements. If there are only as many successful charges as billing periods (for example, 3 charges in 3 months for a monthly subscription), then there is no actual double billing, even if two charges appear close together.
      • Check order history here: Review your order history.
    2. Multiple subscriptions or accounts using the same card
      • Another Microsoft account (for example, a family member’s account) might be using the same credit card.
      • Go to Microsoft account Payment options and select Investigate to search for other accounts using the card. This helps identify if another subscription is being billed on the 22nd.
      • Manage and investigate charges from the Microsoft account dashboard via the Manage your payments page and select Investigate for the unrecognized charge.
    3. Duplicate charge for the same order
      • If there is truly more than one charge for the same order, Microsoft Store Support needs to correct it.
      • For duplicate charges for the same order, contact Microsoft Store Support with the Microsoft account and order number so they can review and adjust billing as needed.
    4. Requesting a refund
      • If the extra charge is for a Microsoft subscription, first cancel the extra/incorrect subscription (if visible) and then check refund eligibility: How to get a refund on a Microsoft subscription.
      • Not all cancellations result in a refund, but this is the official path to request one.
    5. When direct help from an agent is required
      • Community forums and automated tools cannot access or change billing details.
      • For account-specific billing corrections (such as stopping an extra recurring charge or refunding a duplicate payment), contact Microsoft Billing Support or Microsoft Store Support directly using the official support channels referenced in the articles.

    Key actions:

    1. Review order history for the last few months and confirm whether there are truly duplicate charges for the same period.
    2. Use Payment options → Investigate to check if another account is using the card.
    3. If a duplicate charge for the same order is confirmed, contact Microsoft Store Support with order details.
    4. If an extra subscription is found, cancel it and then request a refund using the subscription refund process.
