Microsoft Authenticator iCloud Backup Sync Error – Incident ID Q7NAKQ8H
Hello Microsoft Support,
I am experiencing an issue with Microsoft Authenticator on my iPhone. The app is unable to connect to or sync with iCloud backup.
When I try to enable or use the iCloud backup feature in the app settings, I receive the following error message:
“Something went wrong. Please report an issue using the Send feedback option.”
I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:
Verified that iCloud Drive is enabled
Confirmed Microsoft Authenticator has iCloud permissions enabled
Updated both iOS and Microsoft Authenticator to the latest version
Restarted the device
Signed out and back into iCloud
Despite this, the issue persists and backup/synchronization with iCloud still does not work.
I currently have important authentication accounts stored in the app and I am concerned about losing access if I need to reinstall the application.
I have already submitted the application logs through the app.
