I have been using MS Rewards for three days now and I've faced some issues lately (or maybe I did something wrong)

I have been wondering how my daily points earning dropped from 300 to 100 in just a day. I've done every task (quizzes, polls etc.) on my mobile device and only earned somewhere between 100-150. (30/30 points from Bing searching and 70 points from offers and tasks).

I tried using a laptop to earn more because lots of people are saying that the earnings from laptop and mobile are different. But I earned none. All of the things that I completed from mobile cannot be redone in the laptop including Bing searching.

I'm questioning how people are earning 200+ per day and here I am earning barely 100 per day. People are earning hundreds and hundreds from this Desktop and Mobile searching system, yet I can't even earn a single point on laptop. All of the things that I did on mobile were also recorded on my laptop so I can't earn any more points exceeding 200 every day.

I don't know the issue since I am not even using any kind of hacks or cheats. I tried everything, completing tasks, searching, and everything but I only earned 200 from laptop and mobile, the extra 100 was just from a 3-day task on laptop. I've been excluding the purchases since I'm not on Microsoft to spend.

So, unless I got to wait 4 whole months just for barely reaching 10k points then i need some way to fix this or at least increase my daily earning.

Microsoft Rewards has built-in earning limits and anti-abuse protections that explain the behavior described.

Key points from the program behavior in the context:

    1. Daily search limits by level
      • Level 1 members can earn points for up to 10 searches per day.
      • Level 2 members can earn points for up to 30 searches per day.
Once those limits are reached, additional searches (on either mobile or desktop) will not earn more points.
    2. Single account, shared across devices
The same Microsoft Rewards account is used on both mobile and desktop. When searches or offers are completed on one device, they are recorded against the account and cannot be repeated on another device for extra credit. That is why tasks and searches completed on mobile appear as already done on the laptop and do not award additional points.
    3. Earning limits and temporary restrictions
Microsoft Rewards may show notices that searches within a specific period do not qualify for points or that points can only be earned after a certain time window. This is to ensure activity is in good faith and not an attempt to game the system.
      • These limits are not permanent and are removed once search patterns look normal again.
      • Rapid, back-to-back searches, spamming random characters, or quickly clicking through content can trigger these protections and reduce or block point earnings.
    4. How to avoid limitations and maximize daily earnings
      Based on the documented guidance:
      • Spread out searches throughout the day instead of doing them all at once.
      • Avoid “trick” behavior such as spamming letters/numbers, rapidly opening many pages, or using bookmarks just to farm points.
      • Do not use bots, macros, or automated tools; only manual, good-faith searches qualify.
      • Complete the available daily sets and offers shown on the Rewards page; these vary by region and account and define how many points can be earned legitimately each day.

Because the program enforces per-account limits and shares progress across devices, it is expected that:

    • Mobile and desktop activity together will not exceed the configured daily caps for that account.
    • Tasks completed on one device will not be repeatable for extra points on another device.
    • If earning suddenly drops, it is often due to hitting daily limits or triggering temporary search/earning limitations.

To increase daily earnings within the rules, ensure all available daily sets, quizzes, and offers are completed, searches are spread out and genuine, and no automated or suspicious patterns occur. Beyond that, total daily points are constrained by the program’s documented limits and regional offers.
