Widgets not pinning on windows pane in bottom left corner

Hi,

Do you mean it is not appearing on your taskbar? Could you check if it is enabled under Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Widgets? If it is already enabled but still not appearing on the taskbar, are you seeing any error messages? Please share more details so I can provide better suggestions.

Widgets on the Windows 11 Widgets board must be pinned from within the Widgets board itself.

To pin widgets to the Widgets board:

1. Open the Widgets board by selecting the Widgets area on the taskbar, pressing Windows key + W, or swiping from the side of the screen.
2. Select Add widgets (top-right of the board) or open the Widgets gallery.
3. For each widget that should stay on the board, select the widget so it is added, then:
   • Select the more options button (⋯) in the upper corner of the widget.
   • Choose Pin widget so it remains in a fixed position on the board.

If a widget was previously unpinned or hidden:

1. Open the Widgets board.
2. Use Add widgets to re-add it.
3. If it still appears only occasionally, open more options and ensure it is pinned rather than just shown as suggested content.

If widgets are not working correctly at all (for example, nothing pins or updates):

1. Ensure Windows Web Experience Pack is up to date as described in How To Update the Windows Web Experience Pack.
2. Ensure Microsoft Edge is updated using the guidance in Microsoft Edge update settings, because Widgets and their news feed depend on Edge.
