Please try performing a System Restore at an earlier date where everything is still working.

Press Windows key+R to open Run then type: rstrui.exe

Press Enter. This will open System Restore

    Click the Next button.

Select the restore point at an earlier date where everything is still working.

    Click Next then Finish

    Hi, good day!

When was the last time it worked properly?

    • Have you made any changes to your computer recently?
    • Have you tried the AI suggested solutions?

Please try to download and run the Gaming Services Repair Tool for PC.

Follow these steps to fix the outdated/invalid Gaming Services when Microsoft Store is not working properly.

    1. Remove the current Gaming Services package
      1. Open Windows PowerShell as Administrator.
      2. Run this command to remove Gaming Services for all users:
              Get-AppxPackage *Microsoft.GamingServices* | Remove-AppxPackage -allusers

    2. Reinstall Gaming Services from the GDK (if installed) If the PC has the GDK installed and the Gaming Services package is missing or broken:
      1. In PowerShell, check if Gaming Services exists:
              Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.GamingServices

      2. If it is missing, locate GamingServices.msixbundle in the GDK installation folder.
      3. Install it with:
              Add-AppxPackage <PathToGamingServices.msixbundle>

    3. Force-install/update Gaming Services via Store protocol Even if Microsoft Store UI is problematic, the Store protocol can still trigger the Gaming Services install:
      1. In the same elevated PowerShell window, run:
              start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

      2. When the Gaming Services page opens, install/update it and accept any UAC prompt.
    4. Repair Microsoft Store so future updates work Since Microsoft Store has problems, reset its cache and app:
      1. Press Windows key + R, type wsreset.exe, select OK, wait for the window to close and Store to reopen.
      2. Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
      3. Find Microsoft StoreAdvanced optionsReset.
      4. Restart the PC and try opening Microsoft Store again.
    5. Try installing/launching Forza again After Gaming Services is reinstalled/updated and Store is reset, try launching Forza Horizon 6 or installing it again (via Microsoft Store or Xbox app, depending on how it was acquired).

If Gaming Services still reports as outdated after these steps, repeat step 1 (remove) and step 3 (Store protocol install) once more, then restart the PC before launching the game.
