Image linked to wrong URL

I have been trying to remove an outdated cached image from Bing with no luck. I successfully removed the image from Google search results using the same "remove outdated" tools. The image was removed from the source site so it should work. However I noticed that the image is linked to a live web page. The image is linked to the main page of the source site, but the image is not on the main page or any other part of the source site. Therefore, the image from Bing search results is being linked to a wrong URL. I figured using the outdated cached would work in the same manner as Google but I keep getting a "rejected" message on the tool. I submitted customer service request to bing and haven't received a response.

Can someone please let me know how to correct this? in summary, I have an outdated image that is linked to a live main web page, that link is wrong, but the tool doesn't seem to recognize it as an outdated cached image. Is this a Bing issue or a source site issue? How can i fix this to be able to remove the outdated content.

Thank you.

I see. I cannot determine, as I am also a user. It can be the link address, but it is better for the response from Bing Webmaster support.

I also suggest reporting the issue directly to the link below. It will direct to Bing support. On the Service or product select "Bing Search".

Bing does not update its cache instantly. It may take several days or weeks for some, but reporting on Bing may help.

    Hi,

This is not a Bing issue or a source site issue. Your submission may have been lacking. Since you have already followed the recommended steps to remove the outdated cache but were still rejected, you will need to try submitting again.

Please make sure that you have followed the guidelines, as Bing reviews your submission.

Since you have already requested support from Bing Webmaster, please wait for their response. Please always check your email, especially in your spam, junk, or other folders.

I understand that this might not be a solution for your issue, but only Bing Webmaster support can assist and help you further with your current issue.

    I hope for your understanding.

    Stay Safe!
