    Hello,

Right-click the taskbar and select "Taskbar Settings"

Make sure "Emojis" is always on.

In Windows 10, emojis are opened with a keyboard shortcut, not as a separate icon on the taskbar.

    To use emojis:

    1. Click in any text box (for example, in a document, browser, or search box).
    2. Press Windows logo key + . (period).
    3. The emoji panel should appear. Select an emoji with the mouse, or start typing to search.

If Windows + . is “not working,” check these points:

    1. Make sure Windows 10 is in a text-entry context (cursor visible and ready to type).
    2. Try Windows logo key + ; (semicolon) as an alternative shortcut.
    3. Confirm the Windows key itself works (e.g., Windows + I should open Settings).

The emoji panel cannot be added as a permanent button on the taskbar; it is only available through the keyboard shortcut.
