Start Menu Not Working

Essentially what happens is that my Start menu is not working as given. The issue is that StartMenuExperienceHost appears in task manager very briefly before crashing. It reappears again as it attempts to repair itself but the problem restates. Start menu does not work at this time and no matter how many times I use powershell and repair commands (i have likely tried most you will show me) it does not work.

    If you have tried the usual commands to repair the Start Menu, the best option is to open the Settings App.

    Go to System - Recovery.
    Click the 'Reinstall Now' button in the 'Fix problems with Windows Updates' section, then wait for that process to complete.

    This process should fix any corruption caused by a Windows update and this process will not affect your files, settings or installed apps.
