    Hi ,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out.

Many users have reported the same issue. Minecraft is down in some regions.

The error message shows that Microsoft account sign-in is failing before Minecraft can get an access token, and that sign-in on the Minecraft website also just reloads without logging in. This indicates a Microsoft account sign-in problem rather than a specific launcher issue.

    Follow these steps in order:

    1. Recover or fix the Microsoft account sign-in
      1. If the password might be wrong or has recently changed, go to Recover your account and reset the password: Reset your password.
      2. If the password is correct but sign-in still fails or loops, use the Sign-in Helper tool to diagnose and fix the account sign-in: Sign-in Helper tool.
      3. If the username/email is not recognized, follow the guidance in My username and password have stopped working and try any other aliases or phone numbers on the account: Recover your account.
    2. Check for account restrictions or security issues
      1. If there have been recent security changes (new email, phone, or recovery info), or if the account might be compromised, follow the hacked/compromised account recovery guidance and complete the account recovery form with as much detail as possible: How to recover a hacked or compromised Microsoft account and Help with the Microsoft account recovery form.
      2. If the recovery form is repeatedly denied, the account may not be recoverable; in that case, Minecraft access tied to that account may also not be recoverable and must be discussed with Minecraft Support as described below.
    3. Verify the account still exists and is active
      1. If sign-in has not occurred for more than two years, the Microsoft account may have been deleted and cannot be reopened. See: Reopen your Microsoft account.
    4. After account sign-in works in a browser
      1. First confirm that sign-in works on a normal Microsoft page (for example, Outlook or account.microsoft.com) using the same credentials.
      2. Once browser sign-in works, start the official Minecraft Launcher from Microsoft Store/Xbox app and sign in with that same Microsoft account. Third‑party launchers depend on the same Microsoft authentication; if the account is fixed, they should also start working.
    5. If sign-in still fails everywhere
      1. Use the Contact support option from the sign-in failure dialog or go through the account support path here: I can't sign in to my Microsoft account.
      2. If the account was hacked and recovery keeps failing, follow the guidance in the hacked-account article and, for Minecraft-specific purchase or license questions, contact the Minecraft team as suggested in the hacked-account Q&A.

These steps focus on restoring a working Microsoft account sign-in first; once that is working in a browser, Minecraft authentication (including the official launcher and other clients) should succeed again.
