Subscription expired

I have recently paid for a microsoft 365 subscription in February 2026 and now when I try to log into word or excel on a new laptop, it is telling me my subscrption has expired

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. My apologies and I understand that your Microsoft 365 subscription is showing as expired.

Please check and login to your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com/services to check the status from there to determine if it is really expired.

If it is showing that it is still valid, please logout and login again on any Microsoft 365 app (e.g from Word > click on File > Account > Sign out/Sign in or Update License) and see how it goes.
