Problem with Azure for Students

I tried to redeem the Azure for Students offer and received the confirmation email. However, I didn't proceed with activating the offer on my university account because I thought there might be an issue since the account is part of an organization. Instead, I tried to redeem it on my personal profile, which caused it to be blocked. Because of this, I now can't activate it even on my academic account (I believe the system registers it as if I had already redeemed it on my personal account, where access isn't working). Would it still be possible for me to redeem the offer?

Azure for Students can be redeemed only once per eligible customer and is limited to a single Azure for Students subscription.

If the offer was already redeemed on a personal account, it cannot be redeemed again on an academic account, even if the first subscription is blocked or canceled. The terms specify that the offer is nontransferable and cannot be combined with any other offer.

To continue using Azure in this situation, the available option is to upgrade the existing (blocked) subscription or create a new pay-as-you-go subscription and use standard Azure pricing instead of the Azure for Students credit.

If there are issues with a disabled or accidentally canceled Azure for Students subscription, support can help reactivate or upgrade it:

    1. If the Azure for Students subscription was disabled because credit was used or expired, it can be upgraded to a pay-as-you-go subscription by contacting Azure support.
    2. If the Azure for Students subscription was accidentally canceled, it can be reactivated by contacting Azure support; remaining credit (if any) and free services for the original 12‑month period are restored.
