    To help narrow down the issue:

    1. What type of emails are missing? For example, bank alerts, newsletters, business emails, or emails from a specific person?
    2. Have you checked the Deleted Items, Archive, and Other/Focused Inbox folders?
    3. If you sign in through Outlook web https://outlook.live.com/mail do the missing emails appear there?
